In addition, you've preempted the next part which describes the unconscious machinery on which the conscious experiences are based, and treats qualia as a deterministic conclusion the mind is drawn towards. There are also good reasons why red always feels like red, and seems "atomic", which will be described in the next part. To be fair to Chalmers, he hinted that all this would be the case when it comes to judgments about qualia. Nice observations :)
